Saxophonist and fellow Night Is Alive member Jeff Rupert performed alongside vocalist Veronica Swift as part of an ensemble on their new release of “Let’s Sail Away.” This jazz album is filled with new and returning jazz greats, such as “Rhapsody in Blue” and the album headlining “Let’s Sail Away.”
Lemonwire's own Dodie Miller-Gould couldn't write enough praise for both the album itself AND the singles encompassing it. Here's a little of what she wrote:
"There is something terrifically smart about this recording that does whisk listeners to other places. Other places, it seems, where dreams come true. It is easy to get lost in the rich soundscape. The energy of each piece captivates audiences. There is a sense of swing in almost every song, and it is difficult to explain how one song is “better” than another on this recording. This is an album worth recommending to other jazz fans."
Big thanks to both Miller-Gould and Lemonwire for the great review! Checkout the entire album coverage by visiting Lemonwire's website here.
